Can I bring my dog to Universal Studios?
Service Animals are welcome in all of our restaurant and merchandise locations, attraction queues and most other locations throughout Universal Studios Hollywood. Please stop by Guest Relations to register your Service Animal and obtain a Riders Guide. Pets however, are prohibited from the Park and CityWalk.

Outside of service animals, unfortunately regular pets are not allowed in Disneyland Park. There is a kennel onsite for pets that are not service dogs to spend the day, while their owners enjoy Disneyland Resort.

Slinky Dog Dash is part of the Genie Plus Lightning Lanes system, meaning you can only access it if you have purchased Genie Plus for your day at Hollywood Studios.
We’d say the recommended age for riding Slinky Dog Dash would be 3-4 years and older. Most children that meet the 38″ height requirement should enjoy the ride, as it’s fairly tame and comfortable, filled with colorful toys and lights from the Toy Story movies.
Despite its theme and backstory, this coaster just may be the perfect coaster for adults. It’s entertaining enough for thrill-seekers but smooth and gentle enough for adults prone to motion sickness or who prefer calmer rides. It also means Slinky Dog Dash is a ride both parents and kids will enjoy together.

Unlike some Disney coasters, the track is fully exposed and high off the ground at certain points; however, Slinky Dog Dash is more of a fun, lighthearted experience than a thrill ride. The ride time spans about 3 minutes.
Can I take my dog to Downtown Disney?
According to the Disneyland Resort Rules, pets or other animals are not allowed inside the theme parks or Downtown Disney District. As always, service animals are welcome so if your dog is a service animal then you would be allowed to bring it to the A Touch of Disney event and into the Downtown Disney District.

You’ll be able to check in by webcam as you have fun in the theme parks, and your dog can enjoy all the amenities of the facility but stay with you at night. Expect to spend $27 per day at Doggie Day Camp and build in extra time for drop-off and pick-up each day.
